New Ramadan timings for Dubai Metro kick off today

Dubai: Public transportation services in Dubai are following a new schedule starting today, the first day of Ramadan.

For the duration of the holy month, Dubai Metro commuters using the Red Line and Green Line can take the train from 5am to midnight on Saturdays to Wednesdays, and from 5am to 1am on Thursdays.

On Fridays, the two lines will be serving passengers from 10am to 1am the next day.

The Dubai Tram will run from 6am to 1am on Saturdays to Thursdays and from 9am to 1am on Fridays. More details about the transportation timings are available on the Roads and Transport Authority website.

For those who want to get up to date with daily iftar timings, the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) is advising residents to download the Shail app.
