Iraq war probe must shut within months, say MPs

MPs have recommended the closure of a £60m probe into allegations against Iraq war veterans, calling it an “unmitigated failure”.

It has “proved to be deaf to the concerns of the Armed Forces, blind to their needs, and profligate with its own resources”, MPs said.
