Indonesia’s opposition candidate alleges cheating ahead of polls | Indonesia News

Indonesia’s largest hardline Muslim group is threatening to take to the streets if there is cheating in Wednesday’s election.

President Joko Widodo is expected to win a second term in office but his opponent Prabowo Subianto is already alleging there are widespread irregularities.

It’s a claim that’s being seized upon by some who want to take the moderate Muslim country in a more conservative direction.

Al Jazeera’s Wayne Hay reports from Jakarta.
