Chris Pratt and Katherine Schwarzenegger’s months-long whirlwind romance truly is about to become permanent. Us Weekly reports that the couple, who started dating in April, are about to do what all their friends predicted they would way back in September: Get engaged. A source told the outlet that Pratt is planning to propose to Arnold Schwarzenegger’s 28-year-old daughter and that “they’ll be engaged soon.”

Pratt is so crazy about Schwarzenegger that he has even given up work just “so he can spend time with her,” the source added.

The couple knows they’re moving fast. When they were first photographed on a date in June, a source told E! that “they have been on multiple low key dates and have been talking consistently for the last two months or so.” Still, “they both know it’s right and that they are so happy together,” the source explained.

Pratt and Schwarzenegger were reported at the end of October to be contemplating moving in together. A source told E! then that they were planning to make the move “sometime in the near future.” Pratt sees “a very serious future with Katherine,” the source said. “They just love each other’s company and it’s not slowing down anytime soon.” Indeed!

Pratt and Anna Faris ended their 8-year marriage in August 2017, but Faris has also moved on: She’s dating cinematographer Michael Barrett. Pratt and Faris have both spent time with the other’s new partner. On Halloween, the four all took Pratt and Faris’s six-year-old son Jack trick-or-treating together.
