Abu Dhabi warns against ‘Magic Chocolate’

Dubai: The Department of Health in Abu Dhabi has warned residents against using three unlicensed male enhancement drugs that contained prescription drugs.

The cautionary message was issued after the health authority removed Magic Chocolate, Pena Tropin Capsules and VM Plus Capsules.

The Department of Health pointed out that laboratory results proved that the three products contained ingredients not mentioned in the products’ labelling, which included sildenafil, tadalafil and vardenafil.

The ingredients in question are closely monitored by UAE regulators, and such types of aphrodisiacs should only be purchased with a medical prescription.

The authority also warned that male enhancement supplements should not be consumed with other nitroglycerin tablets, as it can lead to a severe drop in blood pressure that could threaten the patient’s health.
