The Vine Star Who Started "On Fleek" Launches GoFundMe for a Makeup Line

Remember “on fleek?” As in, “eyebrows on fleek”? The phrase dates back to a viral Vine video from Kayla Lewis, aka Peaches Monroee, in 2014. It has since appeared on countless Etsy clothing shops and Forever 21, made its way into a Nicki Minaj song, and got appropriated to no end on the internet. Now the Chicago teen is looking to get her due with a GoFundMe campaign for her own hair and cosmetics line.

“Everyone has used the phrase/word but I haven’t received any money behind it or recognition,” she writes on her page, “I want to start a cosmetic line and hair line; But I don’t have any money to do so. Maybe this can help me with my wishes and dreams.” Lewis, who is now enrolled in college studying nursing, has a goal to reach $100,000.
