Residents urged to replace worn-out flags

Residents asked to maintain flags in good condition if they hoist them on their property

Abu Dhabi: The Abu Dhabi City Municipality has urged residents who hoist the UAE flag on their property to maintain them in good condition, and to replace them periodically.

During a recent inspection campaign in Al Shahama, municipal inspectors noted a number of faded and worn-out flags, the Municipality announced in a statement sent on Wednesday.

These could be seen as uncivilised and unpatriotic and the municipality has, therefore, called upon residents to replace these flags with newer ones.
