Mohammad Bin Zayed receives special US envoy

Abu Dhabi: His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, on Thursday received Brett McGurk, US Special Presidential Envoy for the Global Coalition to Counter Daesh, at Louvre Abu Dhabi.

Shaikh Mohammad and McGurk discussed the ongoing international efforts and joint coordination in the field of combating extremism and terrorist organisations, in addition to the international coalition’s operations against Daesh and ways to drain its sources of funding.

The meeting was attended by and Khaldoun Khalifa Al Mubarak, Chairman of the Executive Affairs Authority; Mohammad Mubarak Al Mazroui, Under-Secretary of the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince’s Court, and Barbara A. Leaf, US Ambassador to the UAE.
